1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the day1brief website and services (the "Service") operated by day1brief ("we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing a brief or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
day1brief generates AI-powered intelligence briefs designed to help individuals prepare for new roles and positions. The Service compiles publicly available information and synthesizes it using artificial intelligence into a formatted brief delivered digitally.
Important: The Service is for informational purposes only. It is not professional career advice, legal advice, financial advice, or a substitute for independent research. You should not make employment, financial, or legal decisions based solely on information contained in a day1brief report.
3. AI-Generated Content & Accuracy
You expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- All briefs are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain factual errors, hallucinations, outdated data, or misattributed information.
- Company details, financial data, personnel names, organizational structures, and other factual claims in briefs may be inaccurate or incomplete.
- AI models can produce plausible-sounding but incorrect information. We do not manually verify every fact in every brief.
- You assume full responsibility for independently verifying any information before acting on it.
- We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content.
4. Purchases & Payment
The current price for a single day1brief report is $19 USD. All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider. By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge the specified amount to your payment method.
Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will apply to future purchases only and will not affect orders already placed.
5. Refund Policy
Because day1brief delivers a digital product that is generated immediately upon purchase, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a brief has been generated and delivered.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents delivery of your brief (e.g., the brief fails to generate), please contact us at hello@day1brief.com and we will either resolve the issue or issue a refund at our discretion.
6. Intellectual Property
Your brief: Once delivered, you own the content of your individual brief. You may use, share, or modify it as you see fit for personal and professional purposes.
Our platform: The day1brief name, logo, website design, underlying technology, prompts, algorithms, and all related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of day1brief. You may not reproduce, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the Service itself.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying prompts, models, or algorithms.
- Use automated tools to access the Service in bulk without prior written consent.
- Resell, redistribute, or white-label the Service without authorization.
- Submit false or misleading information when requesting a brief.
8. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described therein.
Information you provide (such as company name, role, and email) is used to generate your brief and is processed by third-party AI services. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- day1brief shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
- day1brief shall not be liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on AI-generated content, including but not limited to employment decisions, financial decisions, or business strategies.
- Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless day1brief and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on AI-generated content.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services for payment processing, AI content generation, and analytics. We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or availability of these third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your purchase or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
